Local and London Press Conference and Manifesto Launch

On Saturday 12th April 2008, the BNP held its local and London elections press conference. It was held in a very attractively decorated venue in Dagenham to the east of London.

Greater London Assembly Candidate Update

After a vigorous selection process the BNP’s 11 candidates for the GLA Top Up List have been selected.
The top four are:

Bob Bailey
Julian Leppert

The BNP will also be contesting one constituency seat (City and East) and the candidate is Bob Bailey. Richard Barnbrook has already been selected as the Mayoral candidate.

BNP to have Local Election Broadcast

For the first time ever the BNP is set to qualify for a Local Election Party Political Broadcast. Previously nationalist parties have only ever qualified for a Party Political Broadcast at General or European Elections as a result of standing the required number of candidates and paying for the relevant number of deposits.
